Because it is so much.
REAPERS REALIZE MANY CONSIDER REAPERS TO BE “BAD ENDING.”
REAPERS DO NOT CARE.
FUCKERS WILL NEVER SEE REAPERS CRY.
As a result of some incredibly bad judgement and possibly drinking on a weeknight, this blog now exists.
It’s totally Annie’s fault.
We’ve made something terriwonderful: the blog/twitter of Shepard having chosen the “Become Reaper Jesus” ending of ME3. And I couldn’t be happier.

Mass Effect: And Fight the Break of Dawn » by Unbreak my Heart reviews
She’s been fighting for so long. Little by little, her heart cracks and breaks and her tears fall like rain. But one man can see past her strong exterior and soothe the scared little girl inside. My version of the Shenko love scene. ME3. Not good at summaries. PLEASE R&R

That is interesting, also considering that there is question as to which each FAMILY has a high matriarch that has full jurisdiction over each family or if there is a matriarchal hierarchy as you go up the tree order or what.
Oh, man, that’s true. I guess the breeding negotiations would determine which clan the hatchlings ultimately belong to? The codex just says that a family Dalatrass is present for the hatching for the sake of imprinting, but it doesn’t say which family, or if the children are split between the two parties’ families or not. And that’s just for males. A female hatchling imprints on both Dalatrasses from both families. So would she have two family names, or would it be the one that negotiated for ownership?
I always assumed Solus was his family name.
Yeah, so did I. I just wasn’t sure if there was any verification on it.
I think the salarian on Ferros tells you he uses his given and family name and I know Anolais on Noveria uses his family and given name
Oh, cool! I didn’t remember remember much more about the Ferros salarian beyond that he introduces the long name concept. And I had forgotten about Anolais! Helps to have other examples.
One of the Salarian entries brings up their naming traditions, which I hadn’t thought of since I last played through ME1. To quote:
Salarian names are quite complex. A full name includes—in order— the name of a salarian’s planet, duchy, barony, fiefdom, family, and finally, the given name.
And that got me thinking about Mordin. His name as it appears on dossiers and such, “Dr. Mordin Solus,” is, I imagine, a sort of Anglicized version, like how Japanese names are switched from surname/firstname to firstname/surname in other countries to follow local naming structure. Same way we rarely call a Hispanic person by their full name, which, if memory serves, uses both parents’ surnames (maiden name included).
So given that, I’m assuming Mordin is still the salarian doctor’s given name. Would Solus be his family name, then? I’m assuming he wouldn’t use any of the other possibilities, since that would give him a much broader identification, making it much easier to be confused with other, hypothetical Mordins.
Thoughts?
I said before it was the neckline right? Well, I figured out what it reminds me of:

It looks exactly like the model on the box of The Genie Bra, but with thinner straps. I passed it at Target today and was astounded.
A request from cancerbaby, who’s going to be having a rough day on Monday thanks to the Mass Effect 3 demo leak.
Props to the Bioware QA department, and my deepest sympathies.
And sometimes this turian asshat is here, too.
shameless plug/experimentation time
My shame is never-ending.
This one’s from Grunt’s loyalty mission. I always thought the Thresher Maw fight would be just as important to a Sole Survivor Shepard (like mine) as it is to Grunt, since she’s forced to deal with one without the Mako for the first time since Akuze.
Esme is a Spacer/Sole Survior, if that helps. Also involves Grunt and Garrus.
